Gary Andre Salata II, known as Andy to everyone, passed away on October 8th, 2023.
Andy was born in Argentia Newfoundland, while his father was serving in the U.S. Navy.
He grew up in Garfield Heights, Ohio and loved it here. He lived in the same location since he was two years old.
He had a smile for everyone and was just a genuinely nice guy. He loved music and was always a Grateful Dead fan. You could see him riding his electric bike around the neighborhood, his latest hobby. He was a wealth of knowledge and loved to get into deep discussions on interesting topics. He loved his family and took great care of his parents, always willing to help out with whatever they needed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Lehman Salata. He always knew they would be together again one day in Heaven.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Nina Salata, his sister Brandy Royer, and her husband Joe Royer.
Andy, we will love you forever, as long as we are alive, you’ll be, Mom and Dad
