Aileen Blair, 84, of Seminole, Florida passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Martin Blair, her son Marty Joe Blair and her daughter Patricia Lane Culver, her brothers Charles Craft, Ward Craft, and Arlie Craft, and her stepmother, Alma S. Craft.
She is survived by her son, Jim Blair (Barb), her grandchildren, Michelle Smith (Brendan), Joseph Blair, Michael Herrick (Lisa) and Jeffrey Blair (Lauren), and her siblings, Claude Craft, Anna Marie Smith, Pam Compton, Nelson Craft, Dean Craft, and Patsy Sexton.
Aileen was born October 28, 1934 in Hindman, Kentucky to Mayo Craft and Virgin Slone Craft.
After marrying, she and her family settled in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was a school teacher for children with special needs in the Cleveland Municipal School District. She earned her Master of Education from Cleveland State University in 1983. After her retirement from teaching, she resided in Seminole, Florida.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, and playing cards. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving family member and friend, who was always ready with a homemade treat and a warm smile.
All funeral services for Aileen Blair will be private.
