Alfred Edward Brain III

Alfred Edward Brain III passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 67 in North Ridgeville. Alfred, a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, leaves behind a legacy of loyalty and hard work.

Al is survived by his loving wife, Annemarie, and their children: Amanda (Brian) Maddock, Chanda (Ryan) Florentine, Melissa (Brian) Kuhn, and Todd (Alanna) Morris. He was a cherished grandfather to Tyler, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Madelyn, Caden, Riley, and Max. Also mourning his loss is his beloved canine companion, Gracie May. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Kimberly Kormos. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Brain Jr. and Mary Lou Brain, and his sister, Mary Lou Huffman.

Following his graduation, Al honorably served in the Air Force for four years. He then embarked on a rewarding career with Ford, where he excelled as a tool grinder, known for his dedication and hard work.

Alfred enjoyed a variety of hobbies including bowling, golfing, and playing softball. He was also an avid card player. Retirement afforded him cherished moments of relaxation, swimming, and spending quality time with his wife and dog. He found joy in taking care of wildlife, ensuring the birds were well-fed with meticulously prepared food and feeding the squirrels nuts ( so they wouldn’t eat the birds food). 

He was always willing to have the entire family over for picnics , making memories that are certain to last a lifetime. He loved his computer games and his competitive nature always led to a fun battle with his wife.

Al’s life was one of dedication to his family, his career, and his country. His presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
