Allen “Butch” Armbruster

Allen “Butch” Armbruster, 72, passed away on March 30, 2016 at Hospice of VNS, surrounded by his family. He was a pipefitter at Ford Motor Company where he retired from after 28 years of service.  He was a member of the UAW Local 420.

He was a Veteran; he served in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He was also a Mason and loved to work on his lathe in his garage.  He was a member of the North Coast Wood turners and Buckeye Wood turner’s clubs, and the Grand Lodge of F &A.M. of Ohio.

He loved to go fishing and spend time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Victoria of 52 years, sisters Kay Clark, Cynthia (Russ) Sayers, children Pam (Ray) Prunty, Roger (Kim) Armbruster, grandchildren Kyle, Claire, Ethan, and Audrey, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

The American Legion Honor Guard will conduct a gun salute Saturday, April 2

, at 1:45 pm in the parking lot of the Graham Rd. Baptist Church -705 Graham Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. A service celebrating Butch’s life will begin at 2:00 pm followed by a dinner which will be held at the church following the service.

A special thanks to the wonderful staff at VNS Hospice in Akron.
