Alma A. France of Hudson, Ohio passed away December 10, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born July 26, 1926 in New Kensington, PA to the late Martin and Marie Genutis. Alma worked at the Hudson Post Office for over 40 years. She loved volunteering at the church, and helping people. She always greeted people with a smile and a hug. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Alma is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Glen France Jr. who passed away in 2001; four brothers, Edward, Gus, Art and Walter and two sisters, Margie and Lida.
She was a devoted mother to Susan (Michael) Reinhart and Lois (Richard) Holbrook; and a devoted grandmother to granddaughters Melissa (Michael) Hammonds and Samantha (Jeremiah) Conley. She was a great-grandmother to Zoey Hammonds and Evelyn Conley.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Hudson on Friday, December 16th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, fondly requested donations can be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 2113 Ravenna Road, Hudson, Ohio 44236. Condolences and special memories can be shared with the family at
