Amanda Gast

Amanda Jane Gast, born on the 11th of August, 1989, in Akron, Ohio, departed from us on the 11th of April, 2024, at the age of 34, in Coventry Township, Ohio. Her soul was as radiant as her smile, and through her kindness, she became a beacon of light in the lives she touched. Her most cherished role was that of a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Sophia Grace Gast.

She is survived by her treasured daughter, Sophia Gast; her loving mother, Helen Gast; her brother, Philip Gast II; her sister, Heather (TrevorJones) Gast Jones; as well as her adored nieces, Ava and Mya Jones, and her cherished nephew, Lucas Jones. Amanda is preceded in eternal rest by her father, Philip Gast.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in memory of Amanda, which will be held at Maca Park Pavilion #2 in Tallmadge, Ohio, on Sunday, the 19th of May, 2024, between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. 

In Amanda's life, she exemplified a spirit of generosity, a wit that brightened our days, and a beauty that was more than skin deep. Her memory will be enshrined in the hearts of all who were graced by her presence.  

May Amanda rest in peace and may
perpetual light shine upon her. As we
bid farewell, we take solace in the
belief that she is at peace in the arms
of our Creator.
