Babette Marie Wyatt of Cadiz, OH was born to the late Stanley “Hank” Wyatt and Shirley Gable in Canton, OH on May 25, 1966 and passed away on January 29, 2022 just before midnight surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with cancer.
She enjoyed tending to her plants as well as feeding and watching wild animals, especially birds and deer. She was an internet research guru who often shared information with the people around her whether they liked it or not. She was a crafty person. She collected various items because she could see the potential to make things for the store she always wanted. As a self-proclaimed “pack rat,” she didn’t throw anything out because she might use it some day. She loved spending time with her sisters thrift shopping, going to family gatherings – where everyone looked forward to eating her taco salad – and being with her children and grandchildren. She was a hard worker and a brave soul who kept a smile on her face regardless of her circumstances and did what she could to have a positive impact on those around her through her advice and humor that will live on in all of us. Like the potential she saw in all the things she collected, she saw it in the people around her too. She never saw anything for what it was, but for what it could be.
Babette was preceded in death by her parents as well as her oldest son, Eugene Dickson. She is survived by her partner of more than 20 years, Donald “Pablo” Burrows of Cadiz, OH; her daughter, Angelina Dickson of South Heights, PA: her son William (Misty) Dickson of Follansbee, WV and her son Ricky Dickson III of Washington, PA; three grandsons: Kody, Konner and Joshua, two granddaughters: Mariah and Brooklynn and a grandbunny, Lurch. She is also survived by her seven siblings: Mark Wyatt, Kathy Shaklee, Carol Stinchcomb, Pam Vanest, David Wyatt, Trish Shankle, Tammy Sponaugle, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
