Barbara E. Boytim

Barbara E. (Schnoor) Boytim passed away peacefully on October 11, 2023 with her husband of 49 years, Michael, at her side.

Born in Cleveland, she grew up in Parma Hts., graduating from Valley Forge High School. Shortly after meeting her future husband, she went to work for Teamsters, Local 407, serving as their bookkeeper for 32 years, retiring in 2005. What followed was a lot of adventures travelling, both by boat and camper trailer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hank and Virginia Schnoor, sister Jan Brewer, niece Theresa (Jim) Denny and nephew Dan Schnoor. She will be forever remembered and loved by her husband Michael, brother Dave (Doreen) Schnoor and brother and sister-in-laws Arley & Michelle Gardner, Bob & Sara Boytim and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be hosting a “celebration of life” on Sunday November 12, from 1:30 to 6:00 PM at the Elyria Moose Lodge, 555 Ternes Lane. Elyria, OH 44035.
