Barbara Jean Aughenbaugh
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Barbara Jean Aughenbaugh, 72, passed unexpectedly December 22, 2022. She was born January 24, 1950, to the late Delbert and JoAnne Girtz. She grew up in Streetsboro, Ohio. She absolutely loved animals, especially her beagle, Red.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Randy Aughenbaugh, son Ted (Jodi) Aughenbaugh of Ravenna, daughters, Maggie Aughenbaugh of Ravenna, and Cindy (John) Stanfield of Tallmadge, grandson Jordan Stanfield of Tallmadge, granddaughter, Dani Stanfield of Tallmadge, brothers James Girtz and David Girtz, sisters Karen Girtz, Audrey Brodzinski, Doris Girtz, and Carol Moyers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 7, 2022, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Ravenna Eagles, 812 Cleveland Road Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Flowers may be delivered there. Messages of comfort and special memories of Barbara can be shared with her family online at
