Bertha M. Swab-Kagey

Bertha M. Swab-Kagey passed at the age of 88 on December 31, 2024. Was the first of eleven children born to Ellsworth and Bertha Glendora(Davis) in Carrollton, Ohio. Most of her adult years she lived in the Canton area and returned to Carrollton in 2012 residing in Carroll Court. Retired in 1990 from Penn Central/ Con Rail Railroad. She was a member of the Canton Women's Bowling Assoc. for 60 plus years and served on the CWBA Board of Directors as President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Association Manager for more than 20 years. Inducted into the Canton Women's Bowling Assoc. Hall of Fame in 2000 and honored with a Life Membership in 2010. Volunteer Jackson High School JV Bowling Coach 2004-2005. 

Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William, Jack Dray; sister, Linda, sisters-in-law, Patricia, Terri, Diane Dray. 

Survived by three sons, Lee, Danny (Tracy), Clark (Teri) Swab; five grandchildren, Jon, Christopher, Sarah, Sammy Jo, William; two great -granddaughters, Kayla, Zoe; two great-great grandchildren, Braxton, and Briar; two sisters, Betty and Jane; six brothers, James, Ronnie (Karen), John, Melvin, Randy (Diane) Dray; sister-in-law, Teri Dray; many nieces and nephews and friends at Carrol Court.
