Bettie E. (Rose) Dennis

Bettie, age 91, was born in Belmont County, OH. She lived most of her life in Louisville and passed away on January 18, 2024, at home in Barberton, Oh surrounded by her family.

Born September 3, 1932, to William and Freda Rose, she graduated from Belmont High School in 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale R. Dennis, whom she married in 1951, her son Gary L. Dennis and her siblings Marge Shuman, William Rose, Rita Jornd, and Ed Moore. Together, she and Dale started Dennis Tire Shop in Louisville, OH. They enjoyed traveling together with her sister and brother-in-law. Bettie was an avid reader (especially James Patterson) and thoroughly enjoyed her murder mystery shows. She kept herself sharp and alert through her love of Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and crossword puzzles.

Bettie is survived by her 2 children, Lauren (Tom) Taylor of Barberton, Greg (Heather) Dennis of Fort Myers, and her sister Shirley Matt. She will be dearly missed by her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home, 303 S. Chapel St, Louisville, OH 44641 on Tuesday, January 23 between the hours of 5 PM and 7 PM.
