"Together Again"
Our beloved Betty J. Feldt, age 91, born January 7th, 1933, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 9th, 2024.
In addition to her parents, Clarence and Mary (Richards) Cottrill, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin A. Feldt; son, David and grandchildren, Jason (Joann) Barkfelt, and her siblings, Martha Elder, Mildred Richards, Clarence junior, Eulalie Cottrill, Thelma (Gene) Barker, Virginia Whaley, Edward Cottrill,Lillie Moore, and Shirley Owens.
Betty leaves behind her children, Brenda (Howard) Barkfelt, Sandra (Terrance) Sullivan, and Kevin; son-in-law, Jonathan Wilhelm; grandchildren, Kristen (William) Diperna, Jennifer Sullivan, Tracey (Matthew) Harris; and great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Chloe, and Isla.
Betty was a devoted Christian who loved to read the bible. She could and would quote many scriptures by memory and never passed on an opportunity to pray for you. Although a country girl at heart, she did travel the world including Europe and Israel. She believed in miracles, and she was one by any measure. In her final years, she never lost energy or sat still for long and was bestowed the nick name “the white tornado”. She was loved by many and being loved by her was an astonishing gift.
Funeral service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Military Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman, OH on Friday, October 18th, 2024 at 1:45pm Condolences and special memories of Betty can be shared with the family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com.
