Betty Ann Lanham, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 21, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on January 22, 1944, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Edgel and Goldie Goble.
She is survived by her children: Tina (Charles) Seabolt, Jerry (Terri) Lanham Jr., Trena Lanham, and Terry Lanham. Betty is also survived by her sisters Mary O'Connor, Bonnie Lourie, and Linda Osborn, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgel and Goldie, and her child, Gregory and loving husband Jerry Lanham Sr.
Betty was cherished by her grandchildren: Tiphaney, Aaron, Kristen, Katie, Zach, Evan, Jessica, Autumn, Gregory, and Noah, as well as her great-grandchildren: Judson, Everleigh, Harlan, Leland, Skye, Brogan, Reagan, Ava, Malachi, Carson, Mason, Sophia, Landon, and Maeze.
Known for her incredibly loving nature, Betty adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and found immense joy in spending time with her family. She was always there for her whole family, dropping everything to go and stay with them and help care for them in times of need.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Valley City, 6936 Center Rd, Valley City, OH 44280, on Monday, July 1st, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A church service will take place at the same location on Tuesday, July 2nd, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 1:45 PM.
