Beverly J. (Bev) Albright

Beverly J. (Bev) Albright, 92, of Canal Fulton, OH, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 30, 2022.

She was born in Massillon, OH, to the late Floyd & Florence Zorger.  She married Don Albright in 1950. Bev worked in many restaurants in the Akron area, finally retiring as a hostess from Holiday Inn.  She loved traveling to Las Vegas & NJ to play bingo and roulette.  She was quite lucky, and always seemed to win back the money she’d given to others whom she’d helped in their time of need.  Bev had a fierce love for her family & friends.  She always made sure that you had a cake on your birthday. She would often surprise you with goodies “just because.”  Bev said her greatest accomplishment in life was “raising 2 perfect sons.”  She was preceded in death by husband Don (2013), her sister Janet Valentine and sister-in-law Joann Zorger.  She will be dearly missed by sons Randy(Kim) and Dan(Debbie), grandchildren Andrew, Rob, Adam, Melissa, Shane and Heidi, 7 great grandchildren, sister Joyce(Gordon) Ricker, brother Glenn Zorger and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. with service at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity UCC, 8101 Manchester Rd, Canal Fulton, OH.  Bev will be interned at a later time at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Massillon, OH
