Byron E. Thomas returned to the Lord on July 7th, 2019. He was born in Cleveland, OH to Leroy Thomas Sr and the late Martha Thomas.
Byron was baptized at Central Christian Church on April 17th, 1966. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army. Upon returning home from the war, Byron pursued his education and received an Associates Degree from Cuyahoga Community College. He enjoyed bowling, going to horse races and fishing. He also coached high school baseball and loved watching the ball games on TV. In addition, anyone who knew Byron knows he loved visiting Las Vegas and playing the lottery.
On February 27, 1971 in Cleveland, OH he was united in marriage to his wife, Diana.
He is survived by his father, Leroy Thomas Sr.; his brother, Leroy Thomas Jr. (Chan) and daughter, Dionne Thomas. He leaves to mourn his passing a host of family and friends.
