Carol Beaudoin

Carol Beaudoin, 76, of Buffalo, NY, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024, in Medina, OH, after a long illness. 

She was born in Buffalo, NY, on September 23, 1947, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (nee Groff) and lived most of her life in her beloved hometown of Buffalo. Carol fought her health challenges with a strong will and relentless spirit, always loving and prioritizing her family who lived near and far. 

Carol is survived by her devoted daughter, Dawn Ode, and her loving son, Michael (Sandra) Ode and cherished grandson, Matthew (Lauren) Ode.  She is survived by her siblings, Artie (Kathy) Beaudoin, Joe (Jan) Beaudoin, Marianne (Wayne) Fry, Paul Beaudoin, Roseanne Beaudoin, Sue (Ron) Merkwa, Mimi Beaudoin, Bob Beaudoin, and Bett (Dave Polotowicz) Beaudoin and predeceased by siblings Joanne (the late Lenny) Folga and Diane Beaudoin.

She is fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews and her much loved “grandpuppies”.  

A celebration of life will take place in the spring in Buffalo, and she will be laid to rest with her parents. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Western Reserve Hospice of Medina, Ohio.
