Carol J Johnson

Carol J. Johnson, (nee' Sense) aged 80, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away on September 28, 2024. Born on January 14, 1944, in Clinton, Ohio, Carol was an alumna of Northwest High School in Canal Fulton, Ohio.

Carol retired after a dedicated career spanning 30 years at the Hoover Company, where she was well-respected by her colleagues for her dedication and work ethic. Beyond her work achievements, Carol was an avid and accomplished golfer who cherished her yearly visits to Myrtle Beach.

A selfless mother and a loving wife, Carol's warmth and generosity touched all aspects of her life. She is survived by her loving husband, Don Johnson; her children, Shari (Dean) Russell, Janet (Terry) Buza, Donna (Scott) Hornacek, and David Gazey; brother, Terry (Nancy) Sense. Carol also leaves behind her step-children, Dustin (Jessica) Johnson and Danielle Johnson, several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Pearl Sense; brothers, Elmer Jr., Ronald, and Donald Sense; and sister, Darlene Kreiger.

In keeping with Carol's wishes, no services are planned at this time. Her legacy of kindness and dedication will be remembered by all who knew her.
