Charles Wayne Gorby, age 71, of Elyria, OH passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his family on August 2

Charles “Chuck” was born to John and Leone (Roupe) Gorby on June 25
th
, 1951, the youngest of two children. He is survived by his three children Charles (Mary) Gorby (Waddell, AZ), Daniel Gorby (Columbus, OH), Christina Gorby (Elyria,OH); ten grandchildren; his sister Suzie Taylor (TX); nephew Brian Furbee (TX); and his ex-wife Lois (Carroll) Gorby (Elyria, OH).
Chuck loved to spend his time fishing, watching old movies, and visiting with his grandchildren. Chuck’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all the kind words and thoughts as they move through this difficult time. No public services are scheduled at this time.
