Christine Clairmont Chau

Christine Clairmont Chau, 70, of Aurora, Ohio passed away in the early morning hours of April 19, 2020 after a year-long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her husband of 42 years, Paul Chau, her sisters Shirley Clairmont Kouns (Eric) of Rosedale, Ohio and Cheryl Clairmont Goerlach (Arthur) of Lanesborough, MA. She also leaves behind a sister, Holly Boyd, of North Adams, MA., several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Alvin, and by her parents Edward and Marilyn Clairmont.

She was a native of Lanesborough, MA but had lived the last 44 years in the Cleveland, Ohio area. She spent her last several years working for Giant Eagle and Whole Foods as a seafood specialist. She was a 1967 graduate of Mt. Greylock Regional High School (Williamstown, MA) and a 1971 graduate of North Adams State Teachers College (North Adams, MA). Throughout her life she gave selflessly to her family and friends and will be missed by many.
