Christopher Edward Davis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Christopher Davis, on February 14, 2025. Christopher, of Akron, OH, left us too soon at the age of 36. Christopher was one of seven siblings, and his presence in our family was as bright and full of life as the sun rising over a quiet lake.

A proud Electrician and Handyman by trade, Christopher worked hard with his hands, but it was his kind heart that defined him. He loved the outdoors, finding peace in fishing, kayaking, and camping. Whether casting a line or paddling down a lake, he was happiest when surrounded by nature, and his spirit was as free as the open water.

Loud, gregarious, and with a laugh that could fill any room, Christopher had a larger-than-life personality that made an immediate impression on everyone he met. His energy and genuine kindness meant that everyone who crossed his path quickly became a friend. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and his ability to make others smile with just a laugh was one of his greatest gifts.

Though his time with us was far too short, Christopher will forever live on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He was the kind of person who left a mark on your heart, and we will carry him with us always.

Christopher leaves behind his mother, Patty Porter: siblings, Jane Davis, Whitney Davis, Audrey (Anthony) Sealey, Caylon (Bri) Davis, Blake Davis, David Torres; nieces, Serenity Smolen, Corinne Smolen, Ivory Davis; nephews, Zane Davis and King Davis.

Christopher is preceded in death by his sister, Jessie Davis.

A celebration of life for immediate family and close friends will be announced at a later date.
