Clint Wallace Yoho passed away peacefully in the loving care of Hospice with his family by his side in New Philadelphia, Ohio on January 20, 2024. Clint was born April 22, 1939, in Steubenville, Ohio to Elsi and Earl Yoho. He lived in the beautiful hills of Carroll County, Ohio for much of his life. He loved hunting and fishing, gardening of all kinds, and loved to reminisce about his days with Conrail Railroad, from which he retired. Clint had a love for animals that showed in the beagles that he raised and trained. He was a diligent man that strived for the American dream and Clint will be remembered for this. Clint still lived by the “Old School,” rules that life is the best and most effective teacher to learn buy. We will always remember that in our hearts and minds.
Clint is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Sam and grandmother, Mary Florance Yoho of Pine Grove, WV.; parents, Earl and Elsie Yoho; brothers, Clair, Jim, Tom; and one sister, Mary.
Clint is survived by daughters, Laura Marie (Yoho) Moore and Mechelle Suzzette (Mike) Meadows of the home; two grandsons, Dakota and Thomas; and two great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A special mention to Clint’s beloved girlfriend, Shirley, that brought love and peace to his life in his latter days. Finally, a thanks to the neighbors of the Amish community that treated our father like family as we are eternally grateful for all his friends and neighbors in his final days with us.
