Connie Jo (Fogle) Workman of Canton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on August 4

th

, 2022 at the age of 64. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on November 13

th

, 1957 to Donald and Shirley (Fye) Fogle. Connie worked at the VFW Post 3747 for 31 years and just recently retired in May. Connie loved the peace of sitting on her front porch, feeding the resident squirrels, and “piddling” around in her garden. She also enjoyed spending days with her brothers, Gary and Jeff, and her cat, Sweetie. She was a doting sister, a loving friend, and a devoted mother to her only daughter of whom she was incredibly proud. She had an outgoing, vibrant personality and a warm, gentle spirit that made others feel comfortable and cared about in her presence.

In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Workman Sr., stepson, Jerry Workman Jr., nephew, Nicholas Fogle and niece, Jenny (Fogle) Camp.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Jamie Reed of Broadview Heights, OH; siblings, Stephen (Donna) Fogle of Burgettstown, PA, Gary (Renee Shaw Rowe) Fogle of Sherrodsville, OH, and Jeffrey Fogle of Sherrodsville, OH; three ”grand kitties”, Willow, Simba and Miles, a number of nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and many close friends.

, 2022 from 3:00-4:00p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville, OH. A memorial service for Connie will then be held immediately after at 4:00p.m. Friends and family are invited to gather afterwards to share memories of Connie at the VFW Post 3747 in Canton, OH from 5:00-7:00p.m. Flowers are appreciated, and donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Stark County Humane Society.  Condolences and special memories of Connie can be shared with her family online at
