Connie L. Staats

Connie L. Staats age 78 of Canal Fulton passed away December 16, 2024. She was born February 26, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to the late Duston and Marie Bachus. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Bruce Bachus.

Connie was a long time resident of Akron, Ohio. Connie was married to Rodger Staats the love of her life and was married to him for 53 years until his passing in 2019. They have 2 children, Christina Edwards (Dave) and Steven Staats (Tricia) and granddaughter, Carlie Staats; sister, Jackie Stalenaker and brother-in-law, Charles Staats (Caroll) and several nieces and nephews.

 Connie loved vacationing, being with family and friends and loved going to concerts with her kids and family. 

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no public service is planned. She will be laid to rest with Rodger W. Staats at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
