Danielle Christine Prettyman

July 7, 1989 — April 18, 2024

Akron

Danielle Christine "Bus" Prettyman, born on July 7, 1989, in Akron, Ohio, passed away on April 18, 2024, in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, at the age of 34. She was known for her whimsical sense of humor and sarcasm, love for quoting movies, passion for reading, dedication to veganism and conscientiousness to the environment, as well as her deep concern for rescue animals. Those who knew her best knew that she could be fiercely stubborn and really hated being fussed over and always preferred giving rather receiving.

Danielle, or "Bus" as she was called by her closest loved ones is survived by her loving family: father Daniel Prettyman, mother Heidi Prettyman, sisters Emma and Ava Prettyman, brother Eben Prettyman, fiancé Colin Stevens, and her beloved pet Howie.

Danielle attended Manchester High School and later worked at First Energy. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to and collecting David Bowie memorabilia, reading books, and exploring various eclectic literary works. She really enjoyed joking and conversing with her siblings, socializing with her many friends, and spending time with her fiancé, Colin and pet Howie. “Bus” was a daddy’s girl through and through, and there wasn’t anything or anyone she would put before him. She loved and valued time with her father the most.

Danielle's life will be remembered privately, with no formal services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to Friends of City Dogs Cleveland or One of A Kind Pet Rescue in her memory. Danielle's presence and unique spirit will be cherished by all who knew her.
