David Wayne Bodo

David Wayne Bodo passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024 after a courageous battle against aggressive Small Cell Lung Cancer. He was Born September 24, 1957 in Steubenville, Ohio to father Frank John Bodo and Mother Mary Rose Corso. David is survived by his wife of 32 years, Susan Elizabeth Bodo (Leslie) and their children; daughter, Gabrielle Bodo and son, Spencer Bodo of Alliance, Ohio and David’s daughter, Lisa Bowman and husband (Chip) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. 

David, also known to some as “Bo” or “Bodo” was a dedicated husband and father, a fiercely loyal friend and he lived life his way. David worked 35 years at The Whitacre Greer company in Alliance, Ohio and his children have always taken joy in hearing about how hard of a worker their dad was from those who he worked with and knew him best. He lived for his kids’ sporting events and drove all over the state of Ohio to see them being played. He was a charming, goofy, strong-willed and truehearted individual who will be missed by so many. Aside from his family, David loved his dogs, Fia and Harris, and was an avid animal lover. He gave the gift of time and always helped those he considered his friends.

Celebration of Life will be May 18, 2024 2:00 - 4:00PM at the Beech Creek botanical Gardens, 11929 Beech St NE, Alliance, OH 44601
