David Brian Sherrod

David Sherrod, age 59, died Sunday, 24 June, 2018, at Green Meadows Care Center after a long battle with cancer. Born 11 September, 1958, he was the 5th of 6 children born to Donna and James Sherrod of Canton, OH. Dave worked for many years at EMSCO, Inc. He enjoyed making people laugh, and loved kids, dogs, family, and riding his motorcycle. Typical of his concern for others, during the last days of his life Dave took great care to reassure his family that everything would be okay.

Dave is preceded in death by his brother, James Michael Sherrod. He is survived by his longtime partner Tonya Shelton; daughters Ashley Sherrod and Amanda Judy; step-children, Lena and Michael; grandchildren Ella, Nate, and Aidan; parents Donna and James Sherrod; three sisters, Deby (Michael) Barath, Diane Holstein, and Cynthia (William) Weaver; one brother Jeffrey (Tammie) Sherrod; numerous nieces and nephews; three dogs, BB, Kaylee, and Harley; and one cat, Mommas.
