David G. Johnson

David G. Johnson, 64, a Christian, of Doylestown, Ohio died suddenly from blood clots to the lungs on October 29, 2018, at Copley Health Center following a major surgery and stay at Summa Barberton Hospital.

Dave was preceded in death by his mom (Evelyn) and dad (Glenn). He leaves his brother Dan (Cheryl), Aunt Evie, Aunt Barb, Uncle Bill and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Dave graduated from Kenmore High School in 1973. He was previously co-owner of a fishing tackle business with his brother and worked other jobs including Office Max, Pawn Brokers of America and Walmart.

Dave had a professional singing voice. He sang solos and sang in and directed the choir at First Church of God in Tallmadge for many years. He also sang in the Echoes of Heaven Quartet with his dad, brother and good friend Larry Arnold.
