It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of David G. Stuart, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend to many. David departed this world on March 7, 2024, following a short yet valiant battle with esophageal cancer.
Born in E. Providence, RI on October 24, 1966, David lived a life marked by dedication first to his country, having served in the US Navy, and after, devotion to his family with a commitment to making a positive impact on everyone around him. His warm heart and infectious smile left an indelible mark on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
David was a loving husband and a father to three children. Family was the cornerstone of David's life, and he found immense joy in creating cherished memories with his loved ones. Whether it was sharing laughter around the dinner table or embarking on unforgettable adventures, David's presence illuminated the lives of his family and friends.
In the face of adversity, and after only a few weeks after the passing of his father, David confronted his diagnosis of stage IV esophageal cancer with remarkable strength and resilience. His unwavering determination throughout the challenging journey inspired all who witnessed his courageous battle. David's ability to find hope and maintain a positive spirit served as a testament to his character and left a lasting impression on everyone who stood by his side.
David was preceded in death by his mother Helen Stuart and his father Lawrence (Larry) Stuart, Sr.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Correna, children Julia, Jacob, and Jesmond, granddaughter Jennifer Lynn, brother Larry Stuart, Jr., and countless friends.
After a private family viewing and cremation, a memorial service to celebrate David's life will be scheduled in the near future, where friends and family can come together to honor and remember the extraordinary man he was. Details pending final arrangements.
