Dennis Michael Lee

Dennis Michael Lee, also known by many as “DeadEye”, peacefully passed away in his home in Canton South, Ohio on September 1, 2024 at the age of 67. He was born September 20, 1956. Dennis was a truck driver for many years. He hauled for Nasa as well as the Department of Defense. Dennis owned DeadEye Saloon in Dellroy, Ohio. He was a good father who raised his kids in Carroll County. He loved Atwood Lake where he would catfish with his family. Dennis was baptized Catholic.

His personality was characterized by his infectious humor. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him cherished his smile and laughter. Dennis lived by his motto: “It is what it is, and every day is a good day”.

Dennis is preceded in death by his wife of 49 ½ years, Karen Elaine, who passed away on November 12, 2023; his parents, Raymond Lee and Rosemary (Evans) Lee; sister, Theresa; brothers Raymond, Edward and Eric. 

He leaves behind a sister, Barbara Eversole; sister-in-law, Penny Lee; son, Dennis (Lisa) Lee II; daughter, Sherry (Michael) Rea; son, Gary (Michelle) Lee; daughter, Chrissy Lee and son, Bruce (Jamey) Lee; along with 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 expected. 

As we remember DeadEye, we will celebrate a life filled with joy, family and the love he shared with those who were fortunate to know him. His absence leaves a profound void in our hearts, but his spirit lives on in the hearts and lives of his loved ones.
