Denny J Shamp

Denny John Shamp, 68, of Canton, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 18, 2023. He was born on June 18, 1955, in Canton, OH to Bonnie (Harp) and the late Duane Shamp. Denny graduated from Perry High School in 1973. He worked for more than 30 years as a professionally skilled insulator.

Denny was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns football teams. He loved fishing and making sure everyone was laughing and having a great time. His dedication to family and friends was unwavering and he adored being a grandpa.

In addition to his father, Denny is preceded in death by his wife, Jill Shamp and by his brother, Danny Lee Shamp. Denny is survived by his daughter, Heather (Eric) Marcum; stepson, Matthew Rowan; grandchildren, Jordan, and Taylor Marcum; mother, Bonnie Shamp and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Denny will be deeply missed as his family and friends cherish his life and legacy for many years to come.
