Dieter Hicks

Dieter Hicks 58, of Brewster, passed away January 10, 2024. He was born April 26, 1965 to Wilbur and Olga Hicks in Kaiserialautern, Germany.

Dieter was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed by Timken Steel.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Olga; daughter, Amber Hicks; and best friend, George Moore.

Dieter is survived by his wife of 20 years, Julianne; son, Noah Hicks; stepsons, Tyler Witts and Joshua McCray; brother, Randy Hicks, Sr; sisters, Diane Clouston, Renee (David) Cunningham; nieces and nephews, Randy, Nathan, Bobby, Heidi and Daniel; grandchildren, Bryer White, Mackenzy, Lyla, Hunter, and Easton Witts.

Thank you to our community for the past and present support in beating his stage 4 cancer battle of 11 years. He was a fighter. Thank you to Tri County Oncology, Dr. Rafique that Dieter was very close with his fight; and to University Hospital and Cleveland Clinic doctors and staff.
