Doreen was a stay-at-home mom when her children were young. She was active in her children’s classrooms, the PTA, and supported her children’s sports activities and little league games. She participated in the Mother’s Singers Group in Columbia Station, Ohio in the late 1960’s. Later, she went to work at the Ohio Carbon Co. in Cleveland, Ohio where many members of her family worked. When Doreen and Charles (her husband of 54 years) moved to Florida in the early 1980’s, she got a job in the Perfume Department at Burdines Department Store. Doreen is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Francis Graf Jr., her parents, Leon and Jean Draiss, and her brother Leon Draiss (Barb). She is survived by her four children, Charles F. Graf, Lee A. Graf, David A. Graf (Debbie), Kathleen J. Nye (Todd), and her sister Sandra Nielsen (Roy). Doreen is survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 11:00 am at the West Hill Baptist Church (605 N Revere Rd, Akron, OH 44333).
