Dorothy J. (Myers) Whitney

Dorothy J. (Myers) Whitney passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday April 30, 2022. She was born March 18, 1937 to Earl P. and Lela L. (Hoopes) Myers and lived in the Homeworth-Alliance area all her life. She was a member of Ohio Wagon Train, VFW, the Eagles and American Legion. She enjoyed horses, being outdoors, being her favorite band’s groupie, with love for music and dancing. She is now dancing with our Lord.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Deborah (James) Cline Knepp and Duane Menges of Homeworth;  grandchildren, Regena (Tim) Clair of Alliance and Michael E. (Jamie) Gurney Alliance; very loved great-grandchildren, Lydia Clair and Timothy Clair Jr. of Alliance.

She will be buried at Moultrie Cemetery in New Franklin with her parents. No services will be held at her request.
