Dorothy Osborne Turner, age 90, of North Royalton, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 2, 2022, at the Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice of Southwest General, Strongsville, Ohio.
Dorothy served others by wearing many different hats as a financial planner, real estate broker, entrepreneur, wife, mother, homemaker, companion, and confidante to her children. She was an avid reader and loved to sing choral music. A longtime former resident of Berea, Ohio, Dorothy especially loved attending concerts at the Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music, particularly the annual Bach Festival every Spring. She also gave of her time to support others as a Volunteer Guardian, Easter Seals (March of Dimes) volunteer, an advocate for disabled individuals, and was a good friend and second mom to many.
She shared life and family with her former spouse George (deceased).
Left to cherish her memory are the children Linda, Lea (Bob), Lorraine (Gil), Lisa (Bill), George Thomas (Dawn), Lizabeth, and Michael Joseph; grandchildren Grace, Pete (Anna), Katie (Shawn), Anthony (Kara), Maggie (Sam), Bill (Rini), Natalie, Griffin, and Olivia Lorraine; great-grandchildren Lily and Lucy (Grace), Logan and Harper (Katie), Henry and George (Maggie), and Timo and sister on the way (Pete); her brother Arthur Osborne (Katie) and his family; a sister, Jean Hooker (deceased) and her family, and many cousins.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 50 E Bagley Rd., Berea, OH, on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 1:30 pm with fellowship and refreshments immediately afterwards in Harkness Hall adjacent to the Church.
