Dr. Daniel S. Conley

Dr. Daniel S. Conley of Stow, Ohio, formerly of Hudson, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024, at the age of 82. Dan was born in Akron, Ohio, on August 28, 1942 to Charles “Bud” Conley and Charlotte “Polly” Conley. After completing his pre-med studies at Hiram College and The Ohio State University, Dr. Conley pursued his Doctorate degree and graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine Surgery, which is now the Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.

He was board certified by The National Board of Podiatry Examiners, Associate member of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Fellow of The American Wound Care Association, and Fellow of The International Society of Acupuncture.

Dr. Conley was also a clinical instructor of surgery for the Podiatric surgical residency of the Alliance Hospital, and was voted clinician of the year in 2006 by the surgical residents.

Dr. Conley was a member of The American Medical Association, The Ohio Podiatric Medical Association, and the mid-eastern Academy of Medicine.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Polly Conley. He leaves behind his loving wife, Sue (Bittel) Conley, son, Dr. Robert Conley, daughters, Wendy (Reggie) Bailey, Stacey Schultz, sister-in-law, Joan Bittel, grandchildren, Charlotte and Carson Bailey, and Emma, Grace and Connor Schultz, and many cousins.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm, at the First Congregational Church of Hudson, 47 Aurora Street, Hudson, Ohio.
