Edward Boydston

Edward (Ed, Eddie) A. Boydston, 61, of Brewster, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2024. Born June 6, 1962 in Canton, Ohio, he was the son to Phillip Boydston and Joe Ann Knappenberger Boydston. Ed attended high school in Orrville and Wooster where he excelled in academics and football.
 
Ed enlisted in the United States Airforce and served from 1980-1984. During this time, he resided in Phoenix, AZ.
 
After his time in the Airforce, Ed remained living in Phoenix where he joined the Operative Plasterers' and Cement Masons International Association, as an Operative Plasterer.
 
In 1995, Ed moved to Canton, OH where he continued working in his trade as an Operative Plasterer. He was looking forward to his upcoming retirement from CFI Interiors after nearly 25 years of employment. 
 
He was a family man first and enjoyed spending time at his children's sporting events, renovating homes with Donna and spending time with his grandkids.  
 
Ed's hobbies consisted of watching professional sports, riding Harley's and spending time with his pets. 
 
Ed was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Boydston, his mother, Joe Ann Knappenberger and his sister, Phyllis Boydston. Ed is lovingly survived by his Ex-wife Donna Boydston; sisters, Roxanne (Obie) Jenkins, Brenda Boydston, Diane (Alan) Estrada; children, Eddie Boydston, Brittney Boydston, Dillan Boydston, Toby (Lauren) Boydston, Ashlee (Randy) Woods, and Richard LeMay; 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nephews and nieces.
 
Ed lived life to the fullest and was always the life of the party! A celebration of Ed’s life will be held, and the details will be available once finalized. 
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in honor of Ed to St. Jude's Hospital, an organization that Ed himself donated to. Condolences and special memories of Ed may be shared with his family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
