Elaine Theresa Ellis

Elaine Theresa Ellis (née Baker), age 79, passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2022.  Elaine was born on August 31, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, John Kazak, and her parents, Joseph and Nellie Baker.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 24 years, John Ellis; sons, Ken (Dana) and Kyle (Kelly) Kazak; a daughter, Kristin (Philip) Biagiotti; eight grandchildren, Makenna, Brayden, Lilly, Tessa, and Logan Kazak, and Portia, Bianca, and Hunter Biagiotti; Sister of Donald and Diane Baker and the late Carol Mencke and Janice Rayel; Cherished aunt, cousin, and loyal friend to many.

Elaine always had a passion for teaching. She was an elementary school teacher for many years, until she started a family of her own.  Elaine was baptized in 1978 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a member of the Sagamore Hills Congregation at the time of her passing.  Her love for people prompted her to devote her life full time to sharing Bible truths with others for 28 years.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, sudoku puzzles, and all things healthy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 9571 E. Idlewood Drive, Twinsburg, OH 44087.  For those unable to meet in person, Zoom Meeting ID 772 352 1497, Passcode 827021.
