Ella Mae (Urda) Mcdougall

Ella Mae (Urda) McDougall, born August 27, 1938 in Girard, PA, died peacefully at home July 7, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Walter McDougall. She is survived by her loving children, Marcell McDougall (Adam Stein), Andrew McDougall, and Rebecca Miller (Patrick), and her grandchildren, Thomas and Joseph Carter, Julia Stein, Adam McDougall, Maura, Sean, Logan, and Kara Miller. Her love of learning led her to a 40-year career in education, achieving a Specialist certification in Special Education. Her passion for helping others extended to her community through her involvement in The Lions Club, Meals on Wheels, and the Christian Mothers.

She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Export, PA, where a memorial Mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. A private interment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
