Gary K. Bowers “Churchy”

Gary K. Bowers “Churchy” age 76 of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. Gary left a lasting impression by all those who knew him. Preceding graduation, Gary met the love of his life, Yolanda Lear. They soon got married and started their family. Gary enjoyed photography, motorcycling, watching nature but, most of all, spending time with his family and watching his 5 great grandchildren grow up.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, Russell Bowers, mother, Onda Moore, sisters Beverly Wood, and Sandra Ecker.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Yolanda Lear Bowers; son, Lee Bowers; daughter, Lisa (Ray) Bowers Snyder; and brother-in-law, Michael Lear. Gary was a very proud grandpa to Matthew Snyder, Michael Snyder, Rachael Bowers and Jacob Bowers. Our hearts are broken!

Celebration of life is being planned for a future date.
