Gary left us on Tuesday, November 19th, at the age of 65, leaving behind a legacy of love and commitment that will never be forgotten. He was born on September 12th, 1959, in Canton, OH to Dean & Sandy Whaley.
Gary was a devoted father whose love for his children knew no bounds. He took great pride in being their biggest supporter, attending every game and cheering them on through every challenge. The warmth and joy he brought into their lives will always be cherished, and his teachings will guide them in the years to come.
For 32 years, Gary was a passionate coach for Little Leopards football. His dedication to the sport and to the young athletes he mentored was evident in every practice and game. He not only taught the fundamentals of football but also instilled values of teamwork, perseverance, and respect. The impact he made on countless young lives will resonate for generations.
In addition to coaching, Gary was a skilled welder known for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. He approached his work with the same passion he brought to coaching and family life, taking pride in everything he did. Outside of work, he loved to gather with family and friends for card games, where his laughter and friendly banter created lasting memories.
