George A. Zell age 73 of Hartville, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on July 14

, 2022. George was born to the late Lloyd and Marilyn Zell on March 11

th

, 1949. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife and “Love Dove’, Cathy who married on October 15

th

, 1982. (Don’t worry dad, I will still remind you in heaven). His daughters, Lori (Keith) and Amanda; grandchildren, Joshua (Alysia), Victoria and Talaina; great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Hunter, Jamie, Jaxson, Payton, “lil” Keith, Alina, Octavia, Lizzy and Kinsley; mother-in-law, Cletis; sisters-in-law, Judy (Mike) and Debbie (Sonny); furbabies, Annie and Sophie; special friends, Patricia, Denzel, Roger and Scott.

He was the owner of Zell Construction & Roofing, from which he had recently retired. George was a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends on golf leagues for many years. If he wasn’t playing, he was watching it. He had many friends and never knew as stranger.

The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for their kindness and compassion during the short time we needed them.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 27
