George O. Waldron, Jr, 78, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024.
George was a truck driver for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was known as the Lawnmower Man in his community. George was always the first to help a person in need. He was very proud and loved his kids and grandkids. George was a member of the American Legion.
George was preceded in death by son David Waldron; parents Oather C. and Elanor R. (Baker) Waldron; brothers Joseph, Darrel and John Waldron; sisters Arvilla Delaney and Martha Perry. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Karen; daughter Tracy Brinker (Bob Moderwell); grandsons Zackery Cogar (Brianna Yacono), Cody (Victoria) Cogar; Derick Cogar; RT Moderwell; sister Phylis (Harold) Harkless and brother Donny (Barbara) Waldron.
