Glenn R Horne

Glenn R. Horne age 90, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away November 15, 2020. Glenn was born August 27, 1930 to the late Harry and Gladys (Pettigrew) Horne in Natrona, Pennsylvania. He was in the US Navy from 1948-1954 and served in the Korean war. Glen worked at M&M Hardware as a sales manager, and at Timet for 40 years when he retired in 1993.  In his younger days, he liked to fish with his buddies.  He enjoyed a good party, liked to dance, have fun and crack jokes. Glen had many friends and did not know a stranger. He enjoyed playing cards, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and was always happy and smiling. He was a devoted husband and father and was a very active member of the Wintersville United Methodist Church. Glenn was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Glenn is preceded in death by his wife, Betty of 58 years and grandson, Josh Frey.

He is survived by daughters, Georgeann Cain, Laurie Frey; grandchildren, Dwayne Cain and Kayla Reney (Frey); 2 great-grandchildren, Kiley and Connor Reney.
