Henry Earl Miller “Earl”, age 77, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at Hospice of The Western Reserve with family by his side. Earl was born November 15, 1945, in Warren, OH, to William and Elizabeth Miller. In his younger years, Earl enjoyed bowling and playing tricks on his 15 siblings, he was quiet but sneaky. In 1965, he served in the US Army in Germany until being honorably discharged in 1967. Earl married the love of his life, Margaret “Peg”, on October 15, 1968. Earl worked at Johnson Rubber until he retired in 2008. Earl and Peg were married 48 years, until her passing in 2016. They were members of The Fountain Church. Earl and Peg enjoyed adventuring to yard sales all around Portage County. He loved fishing, working on cars and bikes, and building projects. He loved walking to the town diner and enjoying a cup of coffee with his wife and friends. He supported his grandchildren by cheering them on at their sporting events.

Earl is survived by his son, Jason (Amy) Miller of Kent; grandchildren, Nichole (Mikayla) of Cleveland, Kelsey of Newton Falls, and Jacob; brothers, David and William Jr. of Niles; sisters, Delores and Darlene of Niles; sisters, Patricia of Florida, Barbara of Mineral Ridge, and Ruth of Warren; and many friends and fellow neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth; wife, Peg; daughter, Jeanette; grandchildren, Klarissa and Michael; brothers, George “Ed”, Francis “Bub”, Billy, Robert, and John; sisters, Betty “Jane”, Sandra, and Rebecca. Earl will be remembered for his kindness and sarcasm that would put a smile on everyone’s face he met.

There will be a private celebration of life with immediate family. The cremation service will be arranged by Heritage Cremation in Akron, OH. Condolences and special memories of Earl can be shared with his family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
