While surrounded by family, Franklin Moscoe Anderson age 68, passed away peacefully in his Isaletta home on Thursday, August 12, 2021. He was born November 3, 1952. Whether it was around a bountiful display of southern food or on his front porch wing, Frank enjoyed spending time with his family. In his youth, he worked in the Kentucky and Ohio coal mines and later as an auto mechanic. He spent his free time building model cars and trains and listening to his records. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Ruth Ellen Anderson; father, Troy Anderson; mother, Virginia Anderson Cantrell; sisters, Susetta Crawford, Mary and Martha Anderson and brother, Ricky Anderson.
He will be missed by his siblings, Thomas Ray (Sarah) Anderson of Jenkins, Kentucky, Nevada (Rick) Leggett of Sherrodsville, Ohio, Troy (Yen)Anderson of Splendora, Texas, Regina (Jerry) Bosold of Harriman, Tennessee and Terry (Debbie) Anderson of Isaletta, Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial is planned for Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 2pm at Schumaker Farms in West Lafayette, Ohio where all are invited to attend. On a date yet to be determined, an internment of his ashes along with his wife’s ashes, will be carried out at Anderson Branch Cemetery located in Shelby Gap, Kentucky, the childhood home of Frank and his siblings.
