Irma Jean Bigelow Everson

Irma Jean Bigelow Everson slipped away from the family she loved, and who loved her on April 14, 2021 into the hands of God, to be reunited with the love of her life, Hugh E. Everson Sr. who was waiting for her heaven. They were married for 49 years before his passing. She was born to the late Fred and Rowena Bigelow on April 18, 1939 in Ravenna, Ohio. She lived in Richfield, Ohio for many years, where she became a cake decorator and taught many students how to use her skills to make many beautiful cakes for weddings and parties of all kinds.  Irma resided in Barberton for 8 years giving joy to all she came into contact.

In addition to her parents and husband, Irma was preceded in death by brother, Richard Bigelow of Texas; her grandson, Hugh E. Everson lll and two children, Lora Ann and Bobby Lee, who were lost in a terrible auto accident in 1960 which caused her terrible pain during her entire life.

Irma is survived by sister, Linda (Hondo) Holmes; brother, Jimmy Bigelow all of Columbus; her loving sons, Gil (Lyn Ann) Everson of Louisville, Kentucky, and Hugh E. (Suzanne Sanders) Everson Jr.  of Barberton, Ohio; many nieces and nephews she loved with a passion. Irma had many special friends including her health aide, Chykela Williams and loving dog, Buttons.

She will be missed by all who knew her. May you now rest easy in the hands of the Lord, Mom.

ALL MY LOVE, ED.
