James Andrew Brittain, age 48, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 8

, 2021.  He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 1

, 1972, and graduated from Maple Heights High School in 1990.  He studied percussion at the Cleveland Music School Settlement and Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio.

James is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cole and Beryl Keen; and paternal grandparents, Merton and Kathryn Brittain.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Nancy Brittain of Randolph, Ohio; sister, Laura (Dan) Yount of Randolph, Ohio; nephews, Daniel Yount of Searcy, Arkansas, Adam Yount of Randolph, Ohio; uncles, Jack (Eileen) Brittain of Baltimore, Maryland, Brian (Connie) Brittain of Broadview Heights, Ohio; and girlfriend, Naomi Sears of Shaker Heights, Ohio.
