James A Jackson

James A Jackson 84 passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024

Jim was born and raised in Norton and graduated from Norton High School in 1959. He was active in the Norton Jaycees, serving as their president in 1972.

He spent many summers at Salt Fork with his parents and children, boating and teaching his kids how to waterski.

Jim spent his career as a Truck Driver. He enjoyed many years participating in the Loyal Oak Cider Festival & Parade. He and his wife Nancy spent many weekends at local car shows with his beloved 1968 Camaro. 

In his retirement, Jim enjoyed meeting friends every morning for Coffee at Norton McDonalds. 

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny & Bessie Jackson, and his sister, Elaine. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years ,Nancy; his daughters, Joan Arrowsmith (Tim), Amy Forrest (Mike), and Wendy Clark; sons, Jim Jackson Jr (Alyson) and Jeff Jackson (Karin); grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Kevin, Colin, Austin and Carter; great-grandchildren, Zayne, Bryson & Lana.
