James Edward Jones

James Edward Jones age 78 of Ravenna, Ohio passed away on November 16, 2024. He was born on October 25, 1946 in Sidney, Ohio.

In James’ working years he was a laborer at Lordstown Assembly, Blue Ridge Textiles, and did various roofing jobs. In his downtime he liked to fish and enjoy spending time with his family and those that were close to him.

He is survived by his brother Donald Jones, sister Shelby (Jones) Lawrence, son-in-law Ronald Payne, and grandson Joshua Jones.

James was preceded in death by his parents Oren Jones and Stella (Hughes) Jones, brothers Everett Jones, Jerry Jones, sisters Ina (Jones) Compton, Janice (Jones) Rathburn, partner of many years Carolyn Jones, and daughters Christina Jones and Corinna (Jones) Payne.
