James Michael Eremich, 62, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the hospital January 1, 2023, while listening to Kidd Rock and with family by his side. Born June 25, 1960, to Nancy and Steve Eremich, Jimmy spent most of his life in the Manchester area, apart from a brief stay on Marco Island, Florida. He graduated from Manchester High School and shortly after worked various landscaping and cooking jobs. Jimmy had a big heart and never met a stranger. He enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles, women, Kidd Rock, hanging out with friends, Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football, NASCAR, and cooking. Preceded in death by his father, Steve Eremich, older brother Gary Eremich (Dec. 21, 2022), and his nephews Gary Eremich Jr, and Derek Robey, he leaves behind his mother, Nancy Police; sisters Donna Joseph, Rebecca (Ken) Carroll, and Linda Robey; nieces Dylan Joseph and Sara (Allen) Middaugh; nephews Dallas Robey and Drew (Laura) Joseph, baby Sebastian, ex-wife and step-children Serena, Sadie, Blake and Brook, and the Middaugh monsters – Everett, Vivian and Garrett. A special thank you to Sue and his pals at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Manchester for stepping in when Jimmy needed you, and his long-time friends Randy Simmons, Brian Benton, Mike Klemp, Steve Guthrie, and too many more to mention (but Jimmy knew your names).
